Boot Kernel

Can any please advice how to find out- from which kernel the system is currently booted ie from backup kerenl (vmunix.blp ) or the vmunix

What is your OS version?

If it is HP-UX 11.23 and higher, use

# kcpath -b

Hi,

Command is kcpath as shibin said or the other way to look at it is that your current kernel normally doesn't reflect in your kconfig -v output. However, if your using previous versions , you might come accross an equivalent command - kmpath.
