Re: Boot from SAN

Hello,

I have try to do the plan but it didn't work. ThevPar see the disk but can't boot because it says can't read what is inside.

Now i'm trying to make two nPar's...i separate one cell from nPar0 and i'm trying to do a new nPar...but another problem the iCAP license don't let me do it, and give me this error:

Note: It may take a longer time for the partition to boot if
any cell is performing power-on selftest.

Error: Operation not approved, because it would result in the
activation of the following types of iCOD components: CPU(s).
iCOD components are required to be inactive until an enablement license
has been purchased and an associated RTU (Right-to-Use) codeword has
been applied to the system. Codewords for licensed components are available
at the iCOD portal (http://www.hp.com/go/icod/portal).

Error: Unable to update the Stable Complex Configuration Data.

Thank you all,

Marcio

Re: Boot from SAN

Hi

have you modified your vpar settings after mirroring as suggested by Torston ?

# vparmodify -p ... -a io:(path-to-disk):BOOT
