Booting using Mirror.
Suppose i am having my root vol vg00 mirrored.
During booting one disk fails will the system boot , Crashed or hanged.

When you set up the mirror you must make absolutely certain that BOTH disk have the boot string of "hpux -lq" so that the system will boot without a quorum (quorum = 1/2 of the disks in the mirror set + 1).
If you do not have the boot string set correctly then the system will fail to boot because a quorum of disks is not available.
This assumes that your vg00 consists of 2 disks.

In this case,
(By pressing any key)
Interrupt ISL>
ISL>sea -> will search bootable devices are listed chose (e.g P0,P1,P2)
ISL>bo p0 (or) bo sec (or) bo HWPATH (0/0/0/1)
