Hello I am running CIFS client

CIFS-Client A.01.09 CIFS Client
CIFS-Development A.01.09.04 CIFS/9000 server source code files
CIFS-Server A.01.09.04 CIFS/9000 (Samba) File and Print Services

Is this the current version?

Shalom,

That version is current for HP-UX 11.00 which is out of support.

It is based on Samba 2.x

A samba 3.x version is available at http://software.hp.com for supported OS levels.

I recommend and upgrade if your system is running 11.11 or higher.

# swlist -l product | grep -i cifs
CIFS-Client A.02.02.02
CIFS-Development A.02.03.04 CIFS-Server A.02.03.04

For 11iv1, 11iv2, 11iv3
