CPU Processor Model Number required
I have the following HP Proliant servers DL380, DL385 and DL740 running Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 4 and running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3
Can anyone tell me how do I find out the CPU Processor Model number in each of these servers?
Thank you

Re: CPU Processor Model Number required
There is a fairly good amount of information here:
/sys/devices/system/cpu/
cpuspeed command if it works on your system (won't work on mine) might give you some data.
also:
less /proc/cpuinfo
See if that is enough.

Re: CPU Processor Model Number required
Where can I download the Proliant Support Pack from?
I'm running RHEL AS3 and AS4 on these HP Proliant servers.
Please advise.
Thank you

In fact, you need the hpasm RPM (included in PSP) but you may find it as a separate package.
