Re: CSTM cannot map memory
Check using ru command select logtool and vd command to see if you may access memory report.
check memlogd is running and the stm monitor
/usr/sbin/stm/uut/bin/tools/monitor/dm_memory
see sal command to check daemon lauching

Re: CSTM cannot map memory
actually I see more hardware components missing from your cstm output (no processors or disks either). Check the system with ioscan, examine syslog.log and EMS event.log for any sign of abnormal behaviour.
You can also try to restart your diagnostic subsystem by running:
# /sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop
# /sbin/init.d/diagnostic start
Then wait some time to allow the daemons start and examine the system properly.

Re: CSTM cannot map memory
as you're on an itanium server, memory
shoud appear on the second line of the map.
The attached file is the content of the monitor directory taken fron a rx4640
Check output of the MP (map log) command
could this server have different memory DIMM?
To go further i'll need the model of the server, os release and cstm version.
