Re: Can not boot the server from disk or driver
I'd say the boot disk has failed.
You need to restore your system from the Ignite backup, I know you made.

Re: Can not boot the server from disk or driver
what steven means is your boot disk has failed mechanically. Its time to get you disk
replaced before restoring from ignite or fresh install your OS.

Re: Can not boot the server from disk or driver
If you have support, Please call HP.
if you have physical access to the server, go look for any blinking lights on that disk.
do you have your boot disks mirrored.
if yes, have you set the path correctly
(I had this problem,HP helped me to set the alt path to the mirrored disk) then everything was fine.,
is this a PROD and critical server, escalate to highest level.
your message says BOOT is POSSIBLE.
restoring should be your last option if its a PROD server.
if its DEV/QA server and not much impact and downtime is tolerable, then call HP now.
