Can't I conect a DS-BA356

Hello, I have two AlphaServer DS20E (Tru64 4.0F) sharing one storage Shelve BA356-JF, with differential SCSI KZPBA-CY adapter.
When I boot, the system doesn´t sees the disks in BA356 (labeled like rz48,49,50 and 51)

Does KZPBA-CY has different SCSI ID on each machine?

Did it work in the past (what changed?), or is this a new configuration?

The picture you attached is helpful as it suggest that the basics are covered.

As Vladimir already indicated, the controller scsi-id's had better be different from each other (typically 6 on one, and 7 on the other) and different from any other device on that bus.

You may want to repeat your console level ">>> show dev" commands with everything connected, one system disconnected and the other system disconnected.

There is power to the BA right, and the fans are humming?

Oh, and if this is a new configuration change, or re-cabled existing one, then you had best visually inspect those 68 pin wide connectors.

Hold it under a spotlight, and feel the cable-to-plug mechanical transition for potential issues there.

You wouldn't be the first to have one of those pins bend and/or flattened, or only have the cable work in certain angle! Straight with thin needlenose pliers or replace if you can.

You might also want to sanity check that the IO / personality module in the BA356 is actually a differential SCSI module.

Although the -JF indicates differential, it's quite common for the SCSI modules to get swapped around...

Finally the problem was caused by pins bended in the SCSI connector
