Can we concurrently share file systems and files between nodes using VXFS 6

Dear Experts,

If we want to share file systems & file concurrently from both nodes in the cluster environment then we need "Serviceguard Storage Management Suite with CFS". I have heard that now a days with "VXFS 5.0" or "VXFS 6.0" support concurrent access from multiple nodes like CFS. That is, "VXFS 6" support concurrent access of file system from multiple nodes.Please give your advise.

Thanks a lot for your post. From the link i have found "cio" mount option for Standard OnlineJFS 5.0.1 allow for concurrent readers and writers.

My query is does it mean the file system can be mounted from both nodes using "cio" for concurrent read/write like CFS ???

Offcourse not.

cio is the cheaper, more restrictive alternative, for the more expensive odm, not for cfs.
