Change OS for Storage Management Appliance

Gentlemen

HP OpenView would like exchange the Operational system it storage Management Appliance for Linux.

It is possible?

Therefore I have servers with HP-UX, and it would not like to place the Microsoft platform in my company.

No, it is not possible. Many applications like CV-EVA, CA-EVA, BC-EVA are dependent on the OSM framework which depends on the Windows 2000 OS that is installed on the SMA.

The OV-SAM management server need not be installed on the SMA, but it requires the Windows 2000/2003 platfrom, too.
