Changing IP address of a printer in JetDirect

We are using JetDirect E.10.18 to communicate with a number of networked Xerox and HP printers. I set up the printers using IP addresses rather than names, and now we are re-addressing some of these printers. Is there a way to change the IP address of a printer defined in JetDirect without having to destroy the printer and recreate it's queue?

Dumb, dumb, dumb ... always use hostnames -- the indirection is there for a reason.

However, the fix is simple. Edit the /var/spool/lp/interface/yourprintername file and change the "PERIPH=aa.bb.cc.dd" value to the new value (preferably a hostname).
