Check file file consistency
I have two servers , there is two files will be regularly transfer from server A to server B , to make sure the files are successfully transferred , if I want to regularly check the file creation date and file size ( chksum ) is the same or not , can advise what can i do ? thx

Hi,
$cksum file
cksum can be used to verify data integrity when copying files between systems.
For file creation you can use ls or find with ctime switch.

You can only check file modification. And that may change depending on what tool you use to transfer the files.
