Cimserver issue on HPUX 11iv2 hosts

I have some 11iv2 hosts and have recently implemented them on an System Insight Manager server (windows) for event montoring. On the SIM server, i have a weekly task to collect server configuration data. The task completes successfully but the v2 servers are producing this alert...

cimserver{xxxxx} PGS14000" cimprovagt "HPUXLANCSProviderModule" communication with CIM server failed.

cimprovider -l -s shows the provider as OK.
WBEM is at version A.02.05.08
SystemFaultManager is at B.05.00.05

If this is patch issue...
We had a patch analysis done and patched the server last month (march 09).
Any idea?

From what I understand seems to me like a communication issue. Did you check whether the port on which SIM communicates is open to the server?

Communication goes thru port 5989 and the sending of any 'event' from the HPUX server to the SIM server work fine!
