Clearing old EVA Disk Device files in 11.31

Under 11iv1 and v2 using autopath, I could do an "autopath delete -l [LUN WWN]", under 11iv3 the /dev/disk devices seem to persist at zero size.
Can anyone describe how to remove these device files to re-use the LUN Number without using the word "reboot"?

try this
rmsf -av /dev/rdisk/disk
