Configuring NFS mount on HP-UX

Hello,

We are using HP-UX 11.23 and 11.31.

I need to know the steps to configure NFS share for a client server.

Need to share directory from server moon to client neptune.

Is it necessary that moon runs NFS server and neptune runs NFS client ?

OR Is it possible to share resources from moon to neptune even if both the servers runs NFS client  software ?

If NFS Server is HPUX and Client is Linux then how it is done ?

Appreciate if someone mention the steps to configure them.

Yes.  Or each can be both a server and client.

No, you have to be a server before you can export filesystems.
