Configuring modem on hpux

How can I configure a multitech systems modem on an hpux server -A class and other classes?
I need coincise(cookbook) documents on this to include configuring at OS level and internal configuration of the modem itself.

This is not an answer,
but you should post this question in the hp-ux sysadmin forum, because this is a system configuration, not a network relative issue.
I already configured modem on HP-UX trough SAM (serial line configuration), but ask you questions to HP UX gurus to get the proper answer !
