Connecting a HVD10 to a K380 running 10.20

The issue I am having is that the 4 "HP 73.4GATLAS10K3_73_SCA" drives in the HVD10 show up in "ioscan -fn" as unclaimed and unknown ...yet the kernel has the sdisk driver. The 2 28696A HBAs used to connect to teh HVD10 show up claimed and use the scsi3 driver. I am at the point where I think it may be a patch issue, and my system has the HW bundle from 03/2000 and the general bundle from 12/2001. Any ideas on how to get this 4 disks to be claimed by the sdisk driver?

Hm, must be a sort of patch problem, since HVD SCSI disk should bnormally work with this server. I can't remember if the HVD10 was supported with 10.20 ...

Hope this helps!

Re: Connecting a HVD10 to a K380 running 10.20

I found the solution after checking several past entries in the ITRC forums. The solution was to include the "disc3" driver into the kernel. Below is the link that provided me the answer:
