SolutionThe machine is ready for 64 bits.
To make it completely ready for 64 bits, you cannot use any EISA device(s) on your D-class.
After that, you need to re-install HP-UX 11.00 64 bits on the system.
Hope this information can help you.
Cheers,
AW

Re: Converting from 32bit to 64bit on a D390
There is no upgrade path.
Cold operating system installation, followed by all your applications.
Use the most recent HP-UX possible, because older versions will not recognize the NIC card in 64 bit mode.
I would recommend 11i V1 if at all possible. The June 2005 or later Core OS release will recognize all NIC cards properly.

Re: Converting from 32bit to 64bit on a D390
or , if feel daring, you could use the /usr/sbin/update-ux ,but make sure you have a valid backup before you start.
