Creating new Partition and Moving 2 VPARS to it

I have 2 rp7420. Each has a single partition (partition 0) with 3 VPARS the partition.

I would like to create a second partition on each server, and move 2 of the 3 VPARS to the new partition. Basically I'm trying to separate the DEV/TEST VPARS off separately from the PROD VPARS.

Is this possible or will have to re-ignite the VPARS I want to move?

thanks in advance!

Shalom,

I would have ignite backups in any event in case something went wrong, which makes that the best way to do the job.

Re: Creating new Partition and Moving 2 VPARS to it

First qustion to ask is if you have the additional core I/O card setup to create a second Npar on this server.
Second question would be, which LBA's do the 2nd and 3rd Vpars use? If split across the two I/O chassis, it is a rebuild using Ignite.
Third question is, which cards does the 1st Vpar use? Again, if across both I/O chassis, re-ignite time!
