DNS setup for hp-ux machine

Please the output of nslookup:

$ nslookup mgw
Using /etc/hosts on: oraap2

looking up FILES
*** No address information is available for "mgw"
$

whereas for the other server, i am able to see the address information.

have you mentioned mgw in the DNS . please check all the lookup files in the DNS and also you can also mention the name of the server in the local /etc/hosts file .

if its still not working than please respond .
