DRD in a vPar Environment.

Hello there,

I am planning to upgrade the OS on the vPar that has the Vpar Monitor. It boots from SAN. My backout plan is to boot from a drd clone.

Is this a workable solution ?. Or should I ask the SAN admin to clone the boot disk at the SAN level ?.

Regards,

Kaps

Re: DRD in a vPar Environment.

it certainly is a workable solution.
You just need to make sure your clone LUN is at least as big as the current TOTAL used space on the boot LUN

Shalom Kaps,

If the disk is already presented to the right system, it can be cloned with dd.

I think your solution is workable.

You need certain disks available for a time to both systems.
