Hello,
Don't know hy DVD for an HPVM Guest is behaving differently. So I did an hpvmmodify and gave the DVD drive to the vmguest. Used it to install the OS on the guest and went fine. After using the dvd drive, used the machine did a few reboots. From the VMHOST it knows it has presented it to the VMHOST:
Guest Physical
Device Adaptor Bus Dev Ftn Tgt Lun Storage Device
======= ========== === === === === === ========= =========================
disk scsi 0 0 0 0 0 disk /dev/rdisk/disk13
disk scsi 0 0 0 1 0 disk /dev/rdisk/disk18
dvd scsi 0 0 0 2 0 disk /dev/rdisk/disk10
But doing an ioscan on the VMGUEST..... not there.
Thanks,
f. halili
