Determine % of write IO from SAR
Given "sar -d -b interval count" output, how can I determine the "Write" rate?
Or can't I??
I was trying to use the bwrite or lwrite as a percentage of BLKS/sec, but not sure that is accurate... Just trying to gauge write rate per second for remote replication purposes.

Re: Determine % of write IO from SAR
Sar is not the mos acurate, tool out there, if you have the posibility use glance or perfomance agen.
If u are stuck with sar, the actual writes to disk are in the bwrit/s column.
lwrit/s don't go all the way to disk, they are resolved by cache, etc.
