Re: Difference Between kctune and kmtune

Hi:

Both command query and/or set kernel parameters. The 'km' variant is for 11.11 whereas the 'kc' variant applies to 11.23 and 11.31. See the manpages for more information.

Regards!

Re: Difference Between kctune and kmtune

If you have kctune(1m), then you don't want to use the obsolete kmtune(1).

Re: Difference Between kctune and kmtune

I hope you have the answer now. Both of these commands are used to query, set, or reset system parameters. However, it's the version of your OS to decide which command to use. What is your hp-ux version??
