Difference b/w OS's.. BOE, MCOE,DCOE, etc..

What is the difference b/w the following... And each one has a Core #1 & Core #2... Are these both required to run HPUX ...

So confused ........

Hi David:

The differences in the various Operating Environment (OE) packages are in the the additional products they contain. The idea is to target specific environments without burdening the customer to separately purchase and install additional products beyond the core OE. See:

Not necessarily. For example, you might want/need the C/aC++ compiler:
