Directory on /var/adm/crash/

Hi Guys!!
The server:
HP-UX Myserver B.11.23 U ia64
has a folder name it:
/var/adm/crash/PatchesDP

The contents on this folder has this kind of files:
PHSS_38405_CS.depot PHSS_38409_DA.depot PHSS_38460_LOCALIZATION.depot

Can I delete this folder?

Probably.

My guess would be that someone used that as a staging area for installing these 2 patches. If the patches are installed, then you can safely remove them.

ask your colegues if you can delete it,

but i think you can, because this could be forgotten files from some admin.

i could be patches required for Data Protector,

/var/adm/crash/ has another purpouse, but if you don't have enough space for patches could be also temporary located anywhere.

so you can dleete the files, if you finished the installation of DP.
