what is the meaning of 4 numbers device files creating in format block and character files as follows.
ioscan -funC disk
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s1 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d01
/dev/dsk/c0t0d0s2 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2 /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s3 /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s3

Device File:
/dev/dsk/cntndnLegacy block device file
/dev/dsk/cntndns1Legacy block device file, partition 1
/dev/rdsk/cntndn2Legacy character device file
partition 2
/dev/dsk/cntndn2Legacy block device file
partition 2
/dev/dsk/cntndns3Legacy block device file, partition 3
/dev/rdsk/cntndns3Legacy character device file, partition 3

This indicates a boot disk on Integrity systems with 3 partitions, 1 for EFI, 2 for HPUX, 3 for the service partition.
