Does LDAP-UX require winbind to be running?

I have to setup ldapux to authenticate with our AD servers. Do I need winbind running as well?

Shalom,

No, winbind is not required for LDAP-UX.

If however you want to integrate HP-UX Samba servers into the AD Domain, winbind does have to run.
