Doubt regarding the CPU utilization
I need to know whether any command is there to find the CPU utilization of the past. I mean to say it is possible to find yesterday's CPU utilization without any script.
Thanks In Advance........:)

Re: Doubt regarding the CPU utilization
If any third party monitering software is installed then you can check the utilization of previous day's data.

Re: Doubt regarding the CPU utilization
There is no logs to capture these details.
You must have a script.

Re: Doubt regarding the CPU utilization
You can run sar through cronjob and get the details later by referring the sar files.
Please check the man page for sar.

Re: Doubt regarding the CPU utilization
If you want to monitor the performance of a server then the best tool to use on HPUX is HP OpenView Performance Manager.
It reserves the information for 20-30 days in the HPUX system which will help you idntify the performance pattern throughout days/weeks.
For demos, evaluation downloads, or to purchase, see this HP OpenView site:

Re: Doubt regarding the CPU utilization
/var/adm/sa/sadd
Where 'dd' = day of month
'sar -u -f /var/adm/sa/sa12'
Where 12 = current month day 12.
Lists out 24 hours per data file.
