EMS monitoring

Hello,

Where can I find a list of what is monitored by EMS. And can it be re-configured? Do I have any control over what is monitored?

Thank you.

Re: EMS monitoring

Run /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig.

Its a menu driver program and it would be the answer for your question.

Re: EMS monitoring

yes you can find a list of what is configured to be monitored by running the program:
/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

and you also have the ability to change what is being monitored along with the level of criticality.
Cooperation is doing with a smile what you have to do anyhow.

Re: EMS monitoring

/var/stm/data/tools/monitor directory has all the monitored and disabled monitoring for a perticular device

etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

You need to stop monconfig before doing any changes.
/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

Look at this doc for more info

Olga

You can check your setup with the following command:

/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

Also here is a link to the manual from HP.

Re: EMS monitoring

As the others have stated, monconfig will show the monitors and lets you change the configuration.

To just display the active monitors and requests, you can also run /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/moncheck
which will give the same output as the
(S)how command in monconfig, without having to go through the menu.
