ES47 running TRU64 5.1B failed to start after power failure..
I recently had an ES47 that failed to reboot after a power failure. After hooking up to the MBM everything seemed normal except that CPU0 did not not seem to be coming up. I cleared the error on the CPU and eventually after a few reboot cycles the system started up as normal. I'm a bit worried, is this normal behaviour or should i be concerned about the stability of this CPU ?

Re: ES47 running TRU64 5.1B failed to start after power failure..
What were the errors that you cleared at the MBM console ?
I can't remember exactly, but I have seen problems powering up an ES47 when it wasn't shut down cleanly. In this case, an over temperature issue had caused one of two CPU drawers to shut down...
I seem to recall it requiring a few power cycles to get it to boot up.
Cheers,
Rob
