EVA 6500 Preferred Path Switch

Hello all,

EVA 6500

HP-UX 11.31 Itanium

We switched the preferred path on the EVA, but the active path on the HP-UX server does not automatically switch to the mananging controller.  Is there a configuration that we can change to allow HP-UX to automatically update the active path to the mananging controller, when the change is made on the EVA?

Additionally, we have read about setting preferred paths through the OS, but with the number of vdisks that we have now, mananging both the preferred path on Command View and setting the preferred path on the OS would not be an ideal situation.
