OK, 2 SAS controllers, 2 MSA, not connected to each other?

Since both reporting controller failures, I guess it could be a driver / firmware issue.

You should check if the MSA and the disks within have the latest firmware (should be 2.18 for the MSA).

A scsi firmware update looks to have done the trick.

 

The old firmware version on the server was:

 

scsiU320-00            B.11.31.0909   PCI-X SCSI U320;Supptd HW=A7173A/AB290A

 

We have updated the firmware to, "scsiU320-00 B.11.31.1109" and rebooted the server.

 

The daily multiple enclosure and disk warnings have since stopped.
