It may depend on the CD/DVD format.
Why not try to mount the ISO?

Depending on your server hardware you may also try virtual media (mount the media over ILO).

Something else to be sure is that your mount point isnt being accessed. I ran into a similar issue and found that the mount point I was trying to use was currently being exported.
