Error while starting Naviclient

I am getting error while startig the naviclient
"08/25/2009 00:23:10 Agent Main -- Net or File event. Err: Local hostname/address mapping unknown; see installation notes"

And also when i tried to check the connectivity to SP getting error as below,
hostname:[/]# /opt/Navisphere/bin/navicli -h 10.100.200.99 getsp
Error returned from Agent
Client reporting network transfer error. Err: RWInetHostNotFound: No such host 'hostname'

I am using EMC Clarrion Storage CX500 and Operating System HP-UX 11i.

Hi,

what is the version of Naviagent software?

Naviagent & Navicli both also to be installed.

have you started the agent ?
/sbin/init.d/agent start

Hi,
sorry for being ignorant but i have no idea what Navisphere is and how it should be configured. Just from reading your rarely posted information i guess you have a name resolution problem.

Try on client and server if the opposite name and ip is resolveable.

Check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for network related messages.

I am trying to start the agent with /sbin/init.d/agent start, But it won't start. When i check the log in /etc/log/agent.log it showing error "08/25/2009 03:27:02 Agent Main -- Net or File event. Err: Local hostname/address mapping unknown; see installation notes"

swlist -l product |grep -i NAVI

and

cat /etc/log/HostIdFile.txt

please provide above o/p....

Please find the o/p as below,
swlist -l product |grep -i NAVI
Hostname:[/]# swlist -l product |grep -i NAVI
NAVIAGENT 6.19.4.7.0 Navisphere Disk Array Management Tool (AGENT)
NAVICLI 6.19.4.7.0 Navisphere Disk Array Management Tool (CLI)

and

cat /etc/log/HostIdFile.txt
Hostname:[/]# cat /etc/log/HostIdFile.txt
10.133.12.1520071105185315
