Errors with ADIC/SONY fiber channel attached tape library

We have been trying to utilize a
sony SDX 500C tape drive that is
resident in an ADIC-1000 tape
library from a GS-80 running
Tru64 V5.1A PK3 by attaching
it to a san switch 2/8-El.
When we try to use the drive
we get hundreds of errors similar
to those attached.

Can anyone shed some light on
this situation?

Install latest patchkit. This message is a normal "scsi reset". There are some issues fixed with the latest patchkit.

If this doesn't help be sure latest firmware was installed on the controllers and the tape devices.

If nothings helps, open a case within the support center.

When I try to get the latest aggregate patch kit for V5.1A, the search shows me PK5 and PK6 but when I try to down load either one of them they show up as unavailable as shown in the attachment. PK3 shows as available but I'm already at PK3. Do you know when PK5 and/or PK6 will be made available?

pk6 is available since 10/31/2003. And pk5 is older. Try to click on the patchkit given in the "word" document.

Selecting download from the patch description says that the patch is nolonger available. See attached.

So the only chance to get the patch is to open a call within the support center.

Is there any reason why the PDF versions of the releasenotes and install guide show up as 150 and 132 blank page documents respectively? I'm using Acrobat 5.
