Execute /etc/profile during CDE login
Hello,
I have workstation model"9000/785/B2000" I'm trying to run command:
#ln /etc/profile /etc/dt/config/Xsession.d/profile
I receive that above are identical
so, how i should link them, actually I'm not able to run administrative commands such as ioscan, sam, etc...

Check if the below option is commented out.
/$HOME/.dtprofile
DTSOURCEPROFILE=true

Is that your real complaint?
What, exactly, does "I'm not able to run"
mean? As usual, showing actual commands with
their actual output can be more helpful than
vague descriptions and interpretations.

Hi John,
Please check for a file named '.Xdefaults' under root's home directory. Create one if not exists.
Add the following entry to it.
dtterm*loginShell: True
