FC HBA Speed settings

Is there any way to configre the FC HBA speed. Any conf file.. to permenantly set the speed .I knows the fcmsutil force_speed command to dynamicaly set the speed .

Hi

Ideally the speed of the FC on the host side is AUTO and the SAn Admin can set the speed on the switch side for that particular port

Hi..

Still if you want to make some changes.

Find which fc in installed:
# ioscan -fnC fc

Find their respective config file:
# cd /etc/rc.config.d/
# ll hp*conf

Edit the related file.

As said in your previous thread - this should work with autoneg.

Make sure the HBA and the switch has current firmware/driver!
