FTP access to all users - Very urgent

Hi All,

I am running on server 11.23 itanium. I am able to ftp to this server with root user, but not able to do ftp with all other users. While trying with other users, i am getting login incorrect error.

Can someone help me out of this issue.

Can you check /etc/ftpd/ftpusers file.

remove the user from this file.

There is no such file present.

can you show me the files inside /etc/ftpd directory ?

copy all files from /usr/newconfig/etc/ftpd/examples to /etc/ftpd

Did you check your syslog.log file ? , it usually gives more info on why the users are blocked.

Like for example adding your users shells to the /etc/shells file, etc ...
