Fencing device rebooting my second node

hi expert,
I'am trying to setup redhat cluster on hp DL380G6.
I have used ilo as fence device.

The problem is that when one node one my cluster reboot at fencing level the other reboot also.

Are they someone who know what can be cause of that problem.
thanks

Re: Fencing device rebooting my second node

Shalom,

Check /var/log/messages

You may have an issue with ilo firmware.

You may have an issue with network connectivity.

You could have many issues.

The log file leads the investigation.

Re: Fencing device rebooting my second node

Do you have a two-node cluster? Does it have a quorum disk?

A 2-node cluster can be unstable if both nodes have equal votes. A quorum disk can provide an extra quorum vote to keep the remaining cluster node stable while the other node is lost.

See "man 5 qdisk"
