Filesystem mount

Application team has asked to mount couple of filesystems which are missing after reboot of the server. However, they cannot be seen in /etc/fstab. Where can I find them?

Re: Filesystem mount

Hi,

Have you taken the snapshot of all your FS before rebooting server, if no

try to check all FS in

#mount cmd and then execute

#mount -a

Re: Filesystem mount

Hi,

Compare the output of vgdisplay -v with the mount command and try to locate your missing mounted filesystems.

Re: Filesystem mount

Hi Aryan,

You can ask the application team if they use any particular directory to mount the filesystem.
Or look for any directory in / (root) which is empty and has a similar/familiar name as application or file systems.
Don't fix what ain't broke

Re: Filesystem mount

Take file system information (Mountpoint name) from application team and list all LV's which is created in Vg00 or VG01 and mount it.

also put entries in /etc/fstab for mount the system next reboot.
