For those who do not know how to initialize and mount a spare disk space
Dear HP-UX user,
This paper is intended those not daily spending their time onto HP-UX System Management. It is for those who do not know how to initialize and mount a spare disk space under HP-UX B.11.31 like I was. The paper can be found at:
http://vouters.dyndns.org/tima/HP-UX-disks-Managing_disk_storage_on_HP_UX-HOWTO.html
This first draft has been only based onto Google's queries (see the REFERENCES section). Then someone of my knowledge within HP France read the initial draft, commented and advised. This document is its one but last version. I just need to get and verify the correct newfs command strictly equivalent to the mkfs command therein contained and document it within.
In the hope this can help HP-UX System Management newbies like I am.
