still not working

here is the conf

# @(#)B.11.31_LR
#
# syslogd configuration file.
#
# See syslogd(1M) for information about the format of this file.
#
mail.debug /var/adm/syslog/mail.log
*.info;mail.none /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
*.alert /dev/console
*.alert root
*.emerg *
*.info @10.10.21.248 /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

Re: Forward syslog to remote server

Remove the "/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log" entry after the remote server IP address in /etc/syslog.conf file. Save and exit.

mail.debug /var/adm/syslog/mail.log
*.info;mail.none /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
*.alert /dev/console
*.alert root
*.emerg *
*.info @10.10.21.248

Please note, It's important to use "tab" in syslog.conf configuration file between columns. to check the same

# cat -t /etc/syslog.conf

Restart the syslogd service and check if it works.

#/sbin/init.d/syslogd stop
#/sbin/init.d/syslogd start

Hope it helps.
