Getting Machine Class on HP 9000

I am looking for a way to tell what class machine I am connected to. Does
uname -v refer to the hardware platform? Or, is there an HP specific way of
determining what machine class I am connected to?

Hi:

you can run 'model' command to get more information about server.

Search on HP-UX Forum. There are at least two topics about model.
