Getting error unsatified symbol dumpdev_map_buffer

I am trying to install a bundle and getting above error. unsatisfied protected symbol dumpdev_map_buffer in file usr/conf/lib/libtd-pdk.a I have tried going back and loading some required and still receiving above message. Is there a particular patch I am missing. This is running 11.23

are you getting this error in installing bundle patches or not?

You are telling that bundle of patches?

Pls revert back,becuase ima not able to understand.

You might want to specify what bundle you are trying to install, also very important, you if you have the swagent.log file, and paste the important messagess from it might help us find a faster answer!

I am installing a bundle of patches. I have also downloaded some individual patches for p * Installing fileset "PHKL_36904.CORE2-KRN,r=1.0" (4 of 149).

* Building a new kernel for configuration 'import.config'...

ld: Unsatisfied protected symbol "dumpdev_unmap_buffer" in file "/usr/conf/lib/l
ibtd-pdk.a[td_dumpdev_real.o]"
2 errors.
ERROR: The kernel build did not succeed: ld: exit 1
The arguments that were supplied to the linker are the linker
are stored in file /stand/failure_ldargs.
re-requits and sill get this error.

Hi Ed Kramer,

Download all pacthes and stored in Depot and give that access to that bundle of patches and install it.

Better you install one by one,becuase some times the source media is a problem,the patches installation is going to stop,so better thing is install one by one.

if u want to install at a time you stored the depot and give the control and installed at a time.

On my system, /usr/conf/lib/libtd-pdk.a & libdump-pdk.a contains the uses of those symbols and they are defined in .../libdump.a[dumpdev.o]. The def is from PHKL_31500/

You must have PHKL_31500 installed.

Do you have all of their dependencies?

I'm not sure why you want to do them one by one?? As you said, better to put them all in one depot.

I had the patches ready, but one of the problems was that a remote install had failed and had swagent locked up
