Hi ,
Is there any command to check the details of HBA card installed in a box.

which OS do you have?
If hpux
fcmsutil /dev/fcdX vpd (where X=0,1)

What kind of HBA?

SCSI/LAN/FC/combo?

# ioscan -fnC ext_bus

# /opt/fcms/bin/fcmsutil /dev/fcdX

Will give the details of the fibre channel Card. Use the Hardware path shown in the output of the fcmsutil.

Ioscan Output will show whether the device is claimed or not

# ioscan -fNH "Hardware Path"
