HBAs in System Management Homepage / SNMP
Hello,
I've added four 4Gbit/s PCI-E HBAs to an HP ProLiant DL380G6. The HBAs were bought from HP, but are manufactured by QLogic.
After boot, the System Management Homepage doesn't mention them at all. Should it? - If so: What software package might I be missing?

Re: HBAs in System Management Homepage / SNMP
You'll need:
- the "HP SNMP Agents" package to collect the NIC statistics
- the "HP System Management Homepage Templates for Linux" package to present the collected NIC information within the SMH.
- the snmpd service must be running, to provide the communication path between SMH and the agents
- you must run the appropriate command after installing the HP SNMP Agents package, to add the agents to your snmpd configuration (see "man hp-snmp-agents")

Re: HBAs in System Management Homepage / SNMP
All the components that Matti listed were installed. I conclude that it's simply normal for the HBAs not to show up in a prominent place (as a separate category) in the System Management Homepage.
