HP A4924A HSC 1000Base-SX Adapter installation in hp-unix 10.20

Hi,

I am in trouble for installing the HP A4924A HSC 1000Base-SX Adapter in my hp-unix 10.20 box which is recently purchased from hp. Will it require additional driver for it? if so where can i get it as hp is telling they have discontinued support for the above mentioned card.

However, 10.20 is out of support for many years.

AFAIR the needed driver is "GigEther-00" available from the application CD set.

And there were, undoubtedly, driver patches to apply after the driver was installed. Whether 10.20 patches are still around I've no idea.

Any particular reason to stick with such antiquated hardware?

you will need to find the software package J1642AA from the applications cd for 10.20
