HP APA Port Aggregation

Hello,
Could someone help me understand how APA choose first APA port to use.
We have APA configured for port aggregation LB mode, four ports aggregated in one, all four ports have priority 0. in hp_apaport... are defined:
[0]=lan4
[1]=lan5
[2]=lan8
[3]=lan9
but lanadmin -x -v 900 shows:
ports: 8 9 5 4
so it seems not the order they are defined in configuration file.
Before we reboot I think it was lan9 first port.

Is there any clear algorithm how it behave when work in LB mode and all ports with the same priority.

Re: HP APA Port Aggregation

If I recall correctly, the port used will depend not on the configuration order, but on the packet scheduling alogrithm you selected when you created the aggregate. Those should be reasonably well described in the online docs at docs.hp.com.
