HP UX 11iv3 & DVD Rom support for Workstation 712 ?

Hi,
I have a Hp Workstation 712/80, i wants to Install Hp UX 11iv3(latest OS), Can I go ahead or is there any issues for OS support on this H/W
Also I wants to connect a SCSI DVD Rom drive on the same HW, Can I connect & use directly or I need to Install any driver..(Is there any SCSi to IDE convereter so that I can use a IDE DVD or CDROM.

Forget it - with some luck you can install 11.11. This system must be more than 10 years old now. IIRC 10.20 was probably the last supported version for this, even if 11.00 and maybe 11.11 works.

11.11 is the last supported OS version for PA workstations.

In other words, 11.31 will not run on this hardware - 100% sure.
